Workshop Facilitator: Simma Downe
Simma Downe is the Metis, Two Spirit, Queen of the Oil Sands. She is the founder of the Oil Royals drag troupe, the first queer entertainment collective in Fort McMurray. Keyano Theatre & Wood Buffalo Pride are proud to be hosting a Wig Workshop at Keyano Theatre. Whether you are a performer, designer, cosplayer or any other kind of wig enthusiast, this workshop will help you to understand your wigs, their care and how to make them look sensational! The Workshop will touch on the following points:
If you own your own wigs, please bring them! And any supplies you might want to try. But for those who don’t have these things, no fear! Keyano Theatre will provide everything you will need.
